We are proudly “just” Two Teachers dedicated to the moral and civic duty to serve our students and community. We have a vision and desire to see Teaching & Learning thrive with student agency, a commitment to inquiry, exploration and questioning. We aim to constantly inspire those in our spaces to be advocates and allies for social justice, rather than require complacency.
Our Vision illuminates the road ahead, and we are passionate to Amplify the voices and experiences of teachers, students and community members. As we have immersed ourselves in a variety of platforms and spaces, we have seen how our voices can influence and impact those around us by sharing what is happening in our classrooms. We want to further Amplify and support those that may not have the ability to share their own voices, expertise and stories.

The Magic in the Microphone Makes the Smallest Voices Come Alive!
Chey and Pav are two keen and energetic elementary school students who often feel unseen and unheard at home and school. They always have vibrant ideas to share, but for some reason, they are always ignored! One lucky day, they find a Magnificent Microphone which helps them elevate their voices with the people that haven’t been listening. Join Chey and Pav as they plunge into sharing their voices, learn about storytelling, and find ways to help others amplify their voices, too.

In Episode 134, Chey and Pav explore the timely topic of Cell Phones in the classroom. With the conversation of cell phone bans always looming over the educational setting, the Dynamic Duo contemplates whether we, as teachers, can actually cut out cell phones from the classroom environment. They discuss the pros and cons of cell phone use in schools, as well as bring up the systemic issues that exist alongside their usage.
Oh, and there are many interesting twists and turns in the conversation along the way. They talk about their newly released book project, "Amplifying our Practice: Teachers Talking Teaching" and what the writing and publishing process was like.
